The E-Tech Learning Center is a meaningful collaboration between Community Intersections (CommonWorks) and E-Tech Recyclers LLC. Computers responsibly recycled by our customers are repurposed to support Community Intersections' Workforce Training Program, which empowers adults with autism and other developmental disabilities by providing hands-on training, digital literacy, and essential job-readiness skills.
Students at the E-Tech Learning Center receive training in essential workplace skills to help prepare them for employment. The program focuses on developing social and interpersonal abilities, including teamwork, communication, following instructions, accepting feedback, and managing time effectively. Before graduation and job placement, participants are equipped with the tools they need to succeed in a structured work environment.
We deeply appreciate everyone who has contributed to the success of this program—from our dedicated staff and community partners to the individuals and businesses who choose to recycle with us. Your support makes a real difference.
